drawing....

there was a time i learned how to draw, love arts and crafts...after form 5 i wasn't pretty sure what i'm suppose to do..i had no ambition at that time 😓... well went to few places (college) check out their facilities and see whats interest me..at the end i suppose i wanted to go into GD (graphic design), well it is some form of art (i think). long story short, 6 months there and out to computer studies....and that's where my naturally inspirited art left me...it is no longer in my soul...

fwd to present....

i suppose my love of drawing slowly crawling back from the pit of darkness i dumped more than 2 decade ago. it is a way to relax my mind and soul...i'll get very inspirational the more i do it...felt good. when i put my drawing behind me the last time, i always had this perspective way of looking at things or imagining it differently in art form sub-consciously...my love of drawing didn't left me completely it was there with me the whole time. i was suppressing it the whole time....

got to know a colleague pass away this morning :( pretty sad... RIP DG

can't be more excited today...after 14days offshore and you get back home just in time for my daughter bd (it's today!). timing is so right :)

worklife

so many problems so little time...this is what i had been seeing all the time here during offshore..the amount of pressure, responsibility, people management...etc it is sooo much chaotic. how many things you can do in a day? and on top of that, safety is a priority..,salute all these people working tirelessly to accomplish the target.

whoever says working offshore is like a holiday or there is nothing to do, you will be getting a finger...but mostly i'll just keep quiet and smile :) ...

eat what you can

most malaysian eat maggi noodles but when you come to a place where food isn't what you like or expected, i can tell you maggi mee is your next favorite dish out there..but you can't eat the noodles all the time (it's unhealthy), sometimes you have to be creative on your food picking..had corn beef with kimchi spread with butter on a toast bread, shit i like it!

frank chong book launch - from cancer to ultramarathons

saturday, 23rd may - woke up in the morning (7.30am) and felt like im having a hangover (bad flu/headache since friday) but without the alcohol affect. anyway cut things short, was with ahlam (william lee) heading to nu central MPH to attend ahsiong (frank) book launch. pretty excited about it, never attended a book launch before or me being in a bookstore for more than an hour. but anyway congrats to ahsiong for the book launch and he being a humble quiet person, dedicated his runs for cancer research is just awesome! you are a truly one of humanity heroes which i guess this planet we are living in needs more of people like you.

super bug season

seems like ppl are getting sick every where. Sore throat which last for days and on top of that you'll get fever too. antibiotics given by doc seems to have little effect.
